About Gedeon Peteri
Fractal artist and photographer Gedeon Peteri was born in
Budapest and emigrated to the United States with his family after the
1956 Hungarian uprising. Gedeon`s interest in fractals goes back to
1988, when he first read James Gleick's book: Chaos - Making a New
Science. He has been an avid photographer for over forty years,
specializing in nature and landscape photography. Gedeon`s
home is a cabin in South Carolina he built himself from reclaimed
wood, situated next to a pond and surrounded by 500 acres of trees.
These days he also travels extensively, mostly to European cities and
fourwheeling in the Utah desert.
